Despite facing physical challenges due to a leg prosthesis, Hamoudi engages in matches with his friends. He continues to pursue his dream with determination.
The title "Baghdad Messi" playfully nods to Lionel Messi, the acclaimed footballer. The film delves into themes of perseverance, hope and the potentiality of dreams amidst the challenging life circumstances in Iraq.
