Everywhere (2:00 PM)
“Everywhere” follows the remarkable journey of The Periscope Crew, a film crew of young people with disabilities. They were invited to cover the 2023 World Transplant Games in Perth. These games are organised every two years by the World Transplant Games Federation. For a week, players compete in various disciplines to raise awareness about organ donation and transplantation.
However, the project was not limited to making sports footage for the media. The reports became an ode to life itself, to the friendships that developed with the athletes, but above all to the idea that a camera can be an important tool for achieving inclusion.
After the screening, a 15-minute discussion will follow, featuring an online interview with producer Catherine Kolomyjec.
"Everywhere" has received 22 awards across six continents. Highlights include:
| Australia Independent Film Festival - Best Documentary and People's Choice
| Cannes World Film Festival - Disability Film of the Year
| Palermo Opera House - University Award
| UN Association Film Festival
