Trizombie (1:30 PM)
In Leefgroep Stapjes, Luka, Kelly, Maya, Robin, and George are preparing for a party when a zombie apocalypse turns everything upside down. A hyper-infectious virus turns everyone into zombies, except for people with Down syndrome. They must fight to survive.
‘Trizombie’ is unique because actors with Down syndrome play the leading roles and have the opportunity to develop their characters in depth.
The actors in this film also perform with Theater Stap, a professional company that highlights the talent of people with intellectual disabilities. ‘Trizombie’ is not only thrilling and innovative, but also a significant step toward greater inclusion and diversity in the media.
Jason and Gitte, two of the actors from the film will be present during and after the screening. This is a unique opportunity to meet the cast of 'Trizombie' in person!
