An African girl who is totally devoted to the traditions of her village gets injured and therefore taken to the hospital where she learns about Christianity. Being in pain she demands on seeing an old and blind pagan man from her village, Katutu, for the last time. The last wish that she expresses to Katutu is surprising. She wants Katutu to convert to Catholicism.
